System has been build on the headoffice-to-be for the NAM (Dutch Earthoil Company) as a kind of show-off project. The building also has a heathpump-installation and a solarboiler-system, making it very energy-efficient (use of gas: 10000m3 a year to heat 5000m2 officespace). In total 144 panels are mounted to the south-face, but 18 have been disconnected because of the Rabobank-logo covering them (partially). Before completion, Shell decided to concentrate all the NAM-activities in Assen, leaving the building for sale to whoever wanted such a large officebuilding in the region. Rabobank bought it and is the current user together with AJS, a contractor for ....NAM. Measuring started in 2007, after installing a suitable system (Centix).
